Background

AFRIPET is Eastern Africa’s biggest Petroleum, LPG & Lubricants equipment & services providers’ event. The Convention brings together global petroleum equipment manufacturers, suppliers & service providers to display their products & technologies to the Eastern Africa region.

AFRIPET provides a unique platform for potential buyers of petroleum equipment & solutions to meet & interact with manufacturers & dealers from all over the world. It is also a stakeholders’ opportunity to engage & examine pertinent & current issues relating to the retail petroleum business.

In 2023, AFRIPET will be held on July 18th – 20th, 2023 at Sarit Expo Centre, Nairobi, Kenya. The event is sponsored by Dover Fueling Solutions, and Gilbarco Veeder-Root, among others, and is facilitated by Alison and Davis Group (ADG)

The Africa Petroleum Equipment Convention (AfriPet)

Nairobi hosted The Africa Petroleum Equipment Convention (AfriPet) 2018 from July 9th – 11th, 2018 bringing together key petroleum and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) products and equipment stakeholders for a global conference and exhibition of their equipment and products in the region. The event was a resounding success.

Key partners for the event included; the Ministry of Energy & Petroleum in Kenya, the Ministry of Industrialization in Kenya, the Petroleum Institute of East Africa, the Kenya Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and Alison & Davis Group, the event conveners. The Africa Petroleum Equipment Convention (AfriPet) 2022 from July 4th – 06th, 2022 will build on the experiences of the 2018 Convention.

Our Event Model

The three-day convention has been designed to provide plenty of opportunities for participants to network with potential buyers, peers, and colleagues.
The first day of the conference is driven towards interaction between equipment manufacturers and suppliers, the government, and consumers of petroleum equipment where quality and safety are given prominence. Later in the evening, participants enjoy a delightful dinner event.

The second day has sector experts and consultants highlight the latest information on future energy developments, opportunities, and solutions through plenary talks from influential speakers, and forum discussions.

The final day has a morning session interaction on in-depth scientific advances that produce optimum equipment solutions to serve the region into the future. Later in the afternoon, delegates and exhibitors get to enjoy a relaxing safari adventure at the internationally acclaimed Nairobi National Park situated 20 Km from Nairobi City Centre.

The event brings together:

  • Over 100 global exhibitors from petroleum equipment manufacturers, dealers, solutions providers, consulting companies, and other service providers in the petroleum supply chain.
  • Over 3000 delegates from the East African region include oil companies’ executives and technical experts, public agencies and government representatives, industry consultants, and business owners along the petroleum supply chain, among other interested stakeholders.

The event is East Africa’s biggest and biggest petroleum equipment convention.

As the region embarks on unleashing numerous economic opportunities in the petroleum sector at a rapid pace, linking regional stakeholders with their global counterparts should provide a solution-centered platform for all players. The key to building a sustainable sector is acquiring and making use of certified petroleum equipment and products that guarantee longevity in business operation without negative environmental impact.

The conventional approach is to dissect core aspects of Quality, Safety, and Value in attaining sustainable petroleum solutions in East Africa.
